Choosing A Good Link For A Book Store

April 4th, 2008 by admin

The internet has become a great place to advertise. In this day and age people prefer sitting at home and getting all the information they need. Rather than searching for shops or places, they prefer sitting at their computers and finding out information about whatever they need, right from finding out where the closest pharmacy is to what day the flea market is open to which book store is nearest to your home, all this information can be found on the web. So if you are setting up a book store in your city, it would do you a lot of good to mention it online. Create your own website and tell people where your store is located and what kind of books is available by text.

When you are creating or rather trying to find a domain names for your book store, you might want to consider giving the name of your book store as the domain name. For instance if your book stores name is “XYZ1234 Books”, you can have your domain name as www.XYZ1234 Books.com. Incase your shop name isn’t available as a domain name, you can consider other names like buybooks.com, sellbooks.com, bookstore.com, booksforsale.com etc. there are plenty of other names you can choose from. It would be nice if you have book mentioned in your domain name. This way whenever someone types in the keyword “book”, your website will pull up and they will be able to read about your store and all the books you have to offer them.

Always aim to have a short and sweet domain name, one that anyone can remember, even after just one visit. Try your best to be original and unique. Do not borrow names from others; you do not want to find your self in the midst of legal technicalities. Come up with your own domain name, one that is exclusive to your book store alone. When deciding on a domain name, keep in mind that the domain names that do not have hyphens or full stops are the ones that are easy to remember. Punctuations in a domain name can often tend to confuse your visitors and they may find it hard to remember your domain name, this is not what you want! Do your best to restrict your domain name to lesser than thirty characters. Long Link domain names are not attractive nor are they easy to for people to keep in mind.
